We know the difficulties in finding a provider for medication management, that is why we have our own highly trained staff of Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners. We know from research that both psychotherapy in combination with medication management creates the most optimal level of care for those who need it.

Art therapy

Art therapy is utilized with the idea that creative expression can foster healing and mental well-being. Art therapy is a technique that can be applied to anyone. Different than traditionally talk-therapy, art therapy taps into our unconscious through the avenue of creativity, making it approachable to children. 

group work

The nature of all groups at Lager Counseling Services is a wholistic approach.  A ten week group is a 70 day experience.  The purpose of each group is two dimensional.  The first purpose is the focused topic and the sustainable growth that results from this work.  The secondary purpose is to have an overall impact on all areas of the participants lives.  As the participant is actively learning and gaining insight into the topic they are working on.
